On the morning of March 20th, at Da Nang International Airport, Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Exploitation Joint Stock Company (AHT) officially handed over the Autogate system to the Immigration Department - Ministry of Public Security .
This is one of the important steps in the airport modernization strategy, aiming towards a smart airport terminal model, which helps optimize airline check-in processes, minimize waiting times, and enhance the passenger experience.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Thi Minh Loan, Head of the Logistics Department, Immigration Department (Ministry of Public Security), said that this is an important milestone for the strong transformation in the application of science and technology to state management in general, and immigration management in particular.
"The deployment of the automated immigration control gate system will contribute to simplifying immigration procedures; shortening and saving time for passengers; reducing pressure on authorities and providing a convenient experience for Vietnamese citizens and foreigners when entering and exiting Vietnam," Lieutenant Colonel Loan shared.

Following the handover, the system was officially put into operation at Da Nang International Airport, optimizing the flow of international passengers while ensuring accuracy and safety in the control process.
Mr. Do Trong Hau, Deputy General Director of AHT Company, said that this event marks an important step in modernizing immigration procedures, helping to improve the quality of passenger service and optimize operations at the airport.
"The funding and operation of the Autogate system demonstrates our responsibility and commitment to working with the Immigration Department - Ministry of Public Security, as well as related units, in the effort to improve airport infrastructure. With close cooperation between all parties, the Autogate system will maximize its effectiveness, contributing to making Da Nang International Airport one of the leading airports in technology in Vietnam and the region," Mr. Hau said.

The four automated immigration control gates contribute to modernizing immigration procedures at border crossings, promoting technical infrastructure in the aviation sector, and enhancing the passenger experience at Da Nang International Airport.
As a crucial air gateway for Central Vietnam, Terminal T2 at Da Nang International Airport is gradually perfecting its smart terminal model, applying modern technological solutions to optimize operations and enhance passenger experience.
In particular, with the sponsorship of four automated immigration gates for the Immigration Department - Ministry of Public Security, Da Nang International Airport has become the first airport in Vietnam to complete a 100% automated process from airline check-in to baggage drop-off, immigration procedures, and boarding gates.
