Complete Party Documents (1924 - 2020) will be completed by 2030

On April 4, at the headquarters of the National Political Publishing House, Comrade Truong Thi Mai - Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Committee, Chairwoman of the Publishing Council of the Complete Party Documents (1924 - 2020) chaired a working session of the Publishing Council and the Steering Committee for drafting the manuscript on contents related to the publication of the book series.

Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department; and comrades of the Party Central Committee, leaders of central departments, ministries and branches who are members of the Publishing Council and the Steering Committee for drafting the Complete Party Documents (1924 - 2020) and comrades assigned to be directly responsible for editing and publishing the book series.

Comrade Truong Thi Mai chaired the conference.

The book series Complete Party Documents (1924 - 2020) was approved by the Central Party Secretariat to be published this time, consisting of 80 volumes, including documents issued from 1924 to 2020; of which, the volumes from 1924 to 2010 were reprinted with corrections and additions, restructured from 69 volumes to 70 volumes; and 10 new volumes were published in the period 2011 - 2020.

The Complete Party Documents (1924 - 2020) are divided according to the subject of issuance, time and number of documents, ensuring political, scientific , honest, accurate, objective, comprehensive and systematic quality; in each volume, the documents are arranged according to the time of issuance of the document, the importance of the document...

Comrade Truong Thi Mai and delegates visited the traditional room of Truth Publishing House.

The reprinted documents (from volume 1 to volume 69) have been edited and supplemented with a large number of documents, nearly 1,800 documents, so they have been restructured from 69 volumes to 70 volumes.

The newly published documents from 2011 to 2020, from volume 71 to volume 80, include: documents of the National Congress of the Party; documents of the Central Executive Committee Conference; resolutions, directives, decisions, regulations, conclusions, notices, announcements, telegrams, letters... of the Politburo, Secretariat; selected speeches and statements of senior leaders of the Party, State, Government, National Assembly ; telegrams and letters of the Central Executive Committee, Politburo, Secretariat and of individual Party and State leaders related to important events of the country; joint statements of our Party with other parties and countries...

The book series fully, vividly and objectively reflects the process of formation and development of the Party in the process of leading the Vietnamese revolution to realize the goal of national independence associated with the construction of socialism in our country since the Party was born; at the same time, it reflects the strategic ideology, policies and guidelines of the Party leading the country's renovation in all fields. Thereby, it systematically provides historical documents to serve the work of theoretical research and summarizing practices; researches the process of building and developing the Party's guidelines and leadership; researches and compiles the Party's history; provides accurate and systematic sources of documents, refutes the distorted arguments of hostile and reactionary forces, protects the Party's ideological foundation; serves as a basis for building strategic orientations to direct and lead the country's development today.

It is expected that the publication of the book series will be completed in 2030, a work of great value and special significance to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2030).

At the meeting, comrade Vu Trong Lam - Director, Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House Truth, the standing agency of the Publishing Council, reported on the contents related to the publication of the book series Complete Party Documents (1924 - 2020); at the same time, delegates focused on analyzing the contents of the work that needs to be implemented, requiring efforts, attempts and close coordination of relevant agencies.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia - Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Vice Chairman of the Council for Publishing Complete Party Documents (1924 - 2020) spoke at the conference.

On behalf of the Publishing Council and the Steering Committee for drafting the manuscript, comrade Truong Thi Mai concluded and approved the draft contents of the following documents: Plan for publishing the Complete Party Documents (1924 - 2020); Working regulations of the Publishing Council and the Steering Committee for drafting the manuscript; Decision to approve the editor-in-chief of 80 volumes; secretariat to assist the Publishing Council and the Steering Committee for drafting the manuscript. She also agreed to the policy of organizing the declassification of documents based on the content and declassification period in accordance with current regulations of the Party and the State to include them in the book series; concluded the contents related to the organization of editing, publishing and some other contents.

At the same time, it is requested that relevant agencies actively coordinate with the Party Central Office, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the Truth National Political Publishing House to urgently implement the work, ensuring that the book series is launched to cadres, party members and people with the highest quality.
