DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold today at 83.8 million VND/tael for buying and 84.8 million VND/tael for selling. The price of 9999 gold rings increased by 300,000 VND/tael for buying and 100,000 VND/tael for selling compared to yesterday.

At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, the price of Mi Hong gold at the time of survey was listed at VND84.6-85.6 million/tael for buying and selling. Compared to yesterday, the price of SJC gold bars increased by VND300,000/tael for both buying and selling.

World gold price today November 30, 2024 and world gold price fluctuation chart in the past 24 hours

According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4:30 a.m. today, Vietnam time, was 2,650.06 USD/ounce. Today's gold price increased by 0.49% compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate on the free market (25,619 VND), the world gold price is about 81.8 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is 4 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.

World gold price developments in the past 24 hours.

Gold prices rose on Tuesday, boosted by a weaker US dollar and persistent geopolitical tensions, but bullion was still headed for its worst monthly loss since September last year following a post-election sell-off triggered by Donald Trump's victory.

Spot gold rose 0.5% to $2,652.71 an ounce by 1:40 p.m. ET (1840 GMT), but was set to fall more than 2% for the week after a sharp decline earlier this week. U.S. gold futures were up 0.6% at $2,681.

Gold prices have fallen 3% this month, the worst monthly decline since September 2023, as “Trump euphoria” boosted the dollar earlier this month and slowed gold’s rally, triggering a post-election sell-off.

The dollar index fell to its lowest in more than two weeks, but remained on track to gain 2% in November as Trump's victory on Nov. 5 fueled expectations of massive fiscal spending, higher tariffs and tighter borders.

Gold, boosted by geopolitical tensions and the Federal Reserve's rate cuts this year, is now under pressure as higher tariffs could boost inflation and force the Fed to take a more cautious approach to rate cuts.

Jim Wyckoff, senior market analyst at Kitco Metals, said it remains unclear how effective the tariffs Trump has pledged will be. However, the uncertainty surrounding the issue, which could spur a slowdown in economic growth, could actually benefit the gold market as it is a safe haven.

Bullion is traditionally seen as a safe-haven investment during times of economic and geopolitical uncertainty and tends to thrive in a lower interest rate environment. " Persistent global uncertainties continue to drive demand for gold as a safe-haven asset, " Ole Hansen, head of commodity strategy at Saxo Bank, said in a note.

On Thursday, the Israeli military reported a suspect in southern Lebanon, calling it a violation of a ceasefire with Hezbollah, while Russia launched its second major attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure this month.

Spot silver rose 0.9% to $30.54 an ounce, platinum rose 1.7% to $946.83 and palladium rose 0.7% to $981.63, although all were likely to post losses for the month.
