Visitors to the exhibition Where Time Slows Down - Photo: T.DIEU
Where Time Slows Down is taking place at the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts (running until March 29) and can be said to be an exhibition honoring family affection.
There, viewers can clearly see a small, beautiful family home, with a mother and father, a gentle, warm woman, innocent children, small dogs, pretty cats, and colorful gardens.
50 oil and silk paintings, mostly large-scale portraits, exploiting the themes of nature and family, are the cherished love of life over many years of the female artist born in 1984.
Considering painting as a complete game, not caring about selling paintings, Dang Thanh Huyen only paints what she loves and feels moved by.
And she draws the things closest and most dear to her. She draws her parents, draws her children to "fossilize" the loving moments.
Interestingly, in those paintings there is always room for dogs and cats as close friends of the whole family.
Viewers clearly feel the gentleness and love in every feminine stroke of the wife and mother drawing the love and preciousness around her.
Viewing the exhibition, the public is gently reminded of a feeling that is always deep and sacred in everyone's heart: family love.
