“FOR THE GOAL OF NO MORE CHILDREN DROWNING”

On the morning of July 10, 2025, at Ha Ky Primary School (Nguyen Giap Commune, Hai Phong City), JCI Haiphong (World Federation of Young Leaders and Entrepreneurs in Hai Phong) coordinated with Ha Ky Primary School, Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department - Hai Phong City Police and Nguyen Giap Commune Police, Commune Culture and Society Department; Organized the KICK-OFF CEREMONY of the 2025 Anti-drowning Project with the goal of "FOR THE GOAL OF NO MORE CHILDREN DROWNING"

With careful and professional preparation; and beautiful weather; the program took place excitingly and impressively. Knowledge about drowning prevention skills was conveyed in an intuitive and easy-to-understand way, bringing practical meaning to nearly 300 students of grades 3, 4, and 5 of the school. In particular, the ceremony was attended by 4 young entrepreneurs from JCI Seoyongin Korea who came to attend, interact and give gifts to the school. The ceremony took place successfully. (Reporters from Hai Phong Newspaper and Radio and Television; Center for Culture, Sports and Information attended to report). --- After the KICK - OFF ceremony, the Project will deploy: - Install swimming pools, pump water, disinfect and clean; - Select 120 students (8 to 10 years old); divided into 8 classes; - Safe swimming skills classes will be deployed from July 15, 2025 to August 5, 2025 taught by professional and experienced coaches. - When the course ends, the project will test the safe swimming skills of the participating students to validate the project results. —- This is a meaningful project of JCI Hai Phong in coordination with Ha Ky Primary School, Nguyen Giap Commune, Hai Phong City.
