Eisenberg's portrayal of Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network, a drama about the founding of Facebook, catapulted him to international fame.

The actor said he was revisiting memories from that role during his promotional tour for this year's Oscar-nominated film A Real Pain, which he wrote, directed and stars in.

Last month, Eisenberg told the Awards Chatter podcast that he had never met Mark Zuckerberg before taking on the role. He said that while he was driving to meet the Meta CEO, he got a call from one of the film's producers asking him not to come "for various legal reasons."
