By winning the runner-up position at the AVC Champions League in April, VTV Binh Dien Long An has a place at the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Club World Championship.

Participating in the world stage is an opportunity for Vietnamese teams to learn and compete with strong opponents. However, the Vietnamese representative has just decided to withdraw from the FIVB Volleyball Club World Championship.

VTV Binh Dien Long An withdraws from the 2025 Women's Club World Cup.

The reason is that the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) chose Sao Paulo (Brazil) as the venue for the tournament, making it very costly and time-consuming for Southeast Asian teams to travel.

But the important thing is that the 2025 Women's Club Volleyball World Cup is scheduled to take place from December 8 to December 14, coinciding with the 33rd SEA Games. If VTV Binh Dien Long An still participates in this tournament, they will not have the strongest force.

In addition to coach Nguyen Ngoc Hoa , the key athletes of the Western team are Vo Thi Kim Thoa, Nguyen Khanh Dang, Dang Thi Kim Thanh, Le Nhu Anh... are on the list of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team preparing for the 33rd SEA Games. In addition, it is expected that main striker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy will return to Vietnam to join the team next December.

"VTV Binh Dien Long An always determines that creating favorable conditions for members to participate and carry out national tasks is the most important. Therefore, after reaching consensus with the Vietnam Football Federation, the club decided not to participate in the 2025 World Championship," VTV Binh Dien Long An Club announced.

Not only VTV Binh Dien Long An, Thailand's representative, Nakhon Ratchasima Club - the team that won 3rd place at AVC Champions League 2025, also withdrew from the 2025 World Club Championship because many key players focused on the 33rd SEA Games.
