[Video] Strengthening crime prevention right at the border gate

Lai Chau Provincial Border Guard is assigned to manage and protect the border line of more than 265km, adjacent to Giang Thanh, Luc Xuan and Kim Binh districts, Yunnan province, China, with 101 landmarks.

With the motto of “zero tolerance for crime”, units under the Provincial Border Guard Command are ready to mobilize forces and means to handle border incidents. At the same time, they actively advise local Party committees and authorities to implement programs and projects for economic and social development in the area.

Since the beginning of 2025, units of the Provincial Border Guard have organized 242 unilateral patrols with the participation of 1,452 officers and soldiers. Propaganda was organized on the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, the Vietnam Border Guard Law, and 3 legal documents on borders.

With their high initiative and determination, the border guards have been fighting and preventing social evils and illegal acts step by step. Thereby, they contribute to protecting the sovereignty, territorial security and national borders in the border areas in the area.
