The annual Asian cultural festival organized by the Services and Cultural Entertainment Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (China) in coordination with the Consulates of various countries is taking place with the participation of representatives from 30 countries and territories in the region and around the world .
In addition to the booth introducing the characteristics of traditional culture organized by the Consulate General of Vietnam in Hong Kong and Macau (China) in coordination with the Vietnamese Association at the event, Vietnam's participation this year also made a special impression on local people and international friends with the performance of People's Artist Dang Thai Son and the Vietnamese Association in Hong Kong (China), creating a colorful cultural forum imbued with national identity.
The booth of the Consulate General of Vietnam in Hong Kong and Macau (China) displayed national costumes and traditional dances and symbolic items such as lotus flowers, T'rung instruments, street coffee, books, newspapers, and pictures about Vietnam, conveying stories that touched the memories of every Hong Kong (China) person and international friend with Vietnam, as well as the desire to visit Vietnam again.

Ms. Le Duc Hanh, Consul General of Vietnam in Hong Kong and Macau (China) said that the Consulate General always considers the Asian Cultural Festival held in Hong Kong (China) - where East meets West - a valuable opportunity to carry out cultural diplomacy , enhancing exchanges between Hong Kong (China) people and international people with Vietnam.
Consul General Le Duc Hanh also expressed his emotion and pride when learning that within the framework of this year's Festival, Hong Kong (China) audiences were able to enjoy a piano solo performance by artist Dang Thai Son.
The performance of artist Dang Thai Son, which lasted more than 2 hours on the evening of November 17, was also a highlight, leaving a strong impression at the event. The music of Chopin, Fauré and Ravel played by artist Dang Thai Son caused strong emotions when the 1,400 audience members who filled the auditorium continuously applauded, expressing their admiration for Vietnam's world-class piano talent. At the end of the performance, hundreds of people lingered to wait for the artist to sign autographs.
Talking to VNA reporters in Hong Kong (China), artist Dang Thai Son shared that he has performed in Hong Kong (China) many times, the first time was 35 years ago, and he also highly appreciated the love that Hong Kong (China) audiences have for his music. After the solo performance in Hong Kong, the artist will participate in a concert in Beijing.

Artist Dang Thai Son said he has accompanied many high-ranking Vietnamese delegations in promoting Vietnamese culture and image in many places around the world, but returning and attending the Asian Cultural Festival in Hong Kong (China) this time also has its own unique features.
The artist also had many positive comments about Hong Kong (China) - a place with Eastern-Western, Asian-European cultures and many strengths, and very close to Vietnam in all aspects. He hopes that cultural and artistic exchanges between the two sides will increasingly develop, bringing benefits to the people of both sides in general, the music industry and performing artists in particular.
The Vietnamese Association in Hong Kong (China) brought to the cultural exchange program many special performances such as "Continuing the story of peace", along with lyrical folk songs imbued with the traditional cultural identity of the Vietnamese people, which were enthusiastically cheered by the audience.
Sharing her feelings about having the same blood of Vietnamese and Hong Kong (China), Quach Gia Nhi said she feels extremely proud to contribute to promoting Vietnamese culture to international friends.

Every year, she finds the performances carefully prepared and dedicated, and is planning to visit Vietnam with her family.
The Asian Cultural Festival also includes many events such as performances, exhibitions and outdoor festivals, bringing together artists from 30 countries and regions, bringing audiences more than 100 performances and events.
