30-year-old central defender Trinh Van Loi (Dong A Thanh Hoa) played like a real striker, scoring the equalizer 2-2 for Thanh Hoa on PVF-CAND's field.

On the evening of October 19, PVF-CAND welcomed Dong A Thanh Hoa at PVF home field in the framework of round 7 of V-League 2025-2026. Both teams were eager to win so they entered the match fiercely from the start. PVF-CAND with home field advantage was the team that dominated the first half.

Despite having less possession, Dong A Thanh Hoa had more shots on target and showed sharpness in their passing. However, the home team managed to take the lead before the end of the first half thanks to Nguyen Hoang in the 40th minute.

In the second half, fans witnessed a feast of attacks with a dramatic tug-of-war between the two teams. The away team quickly brought the match back to the starting line with a superb volley from Xuan Bac that hit the home team's net.

PVF-CAND proved to be a tough opponent when they once again took a 2-1 lead against Dong A Thanh Hoa with Anh Quan's precise handling in a tight angle. It seemed like the match's outcome was decided, but Trinh Van Loi spoke up in time to save Thanh Hoa.

In the 78th minute, in an attacking situation of the away team, the ball found the feet of Ngoc My, this midfielder immediately made an accurate cross into the box. Center back Trinh Van Loi had a chance to stop the ball with his chest before launching a beautiful hook that hit the opponent's net.

In the remaining minutes, both teams continued to fight dramatically to find more goals, but the defenses of both teams played with concentration. In the end, PVF-CAND and Dong A Thanh Hoa tied 2-2.
