National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion holds training course to update professional knowledge in Cao Bang

Implementing Project 1816 of the Ministry of Health, aiming to improve the quality of Hematology - Blood Transfusion expertise for lower-level medical units. On August 1, at Cao Bang Provincial General Hospital, the Central Institute of Hematology - Blood Transfusion in coordination with the Department of Health organized a training course to update professional knowledge of Hematology - Blood Transfusion for 155 trainees who are doctors, nurses/technicians working at Hospitals and Medical Centers under the Cao Bang Department of Health.

Attending the opening ceremony of the training course were Dr. Vu Duc Binh, Deputy Director of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion; Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Ngoc Que, Director of the National Blood Center, National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion; Dr. Vu Hai Toan, Deputy Director of the Thalassemia Center, National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion; Dr. Luc Thi Hiep, Deputy Director of the Provincial General Hospital and all trainees attending the training course.

At the training course, trainees were shared and updated with the latest knowledge and information on: Ensuring blood transfusion safety and Managing blood transfusion facilities; Diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of Thalassemia; Blood transfusion reactions, recognition and handling...

Through the training course, trainees will improve their knowledge of properly implementing regulations and technical procedures in the work of transfusing and using blood and blood products in clinical practice, contributing to the good performance of the task of caring for, protecting and improving people's health.

Comrade Nong Tuan Phong, Director of the Department of Health, spoke at the working session with the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.

 

On the same morning, the delegation of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion led by Dr. Vu Duc Binh, Deputy Director of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, had a working session with the Cao Bang Provincial Department of Health. Attending the meeting were Mr. Nong Tuan Phong, Director of the Department of Health and Deputy Directors, leaders of relevant departments of the Department of Health and Cao Bang Provincial General Hospital.

At the meeting, Mr. Nong Tuan Phong - Director of the Department of Health introduced the general geographical and population characteristics of Cao Bang province, the achievements and the difficulties and challenges of the health sector in the cause of caring for and protecting people's health in the past time. At the same time, he recommended and proposed the support of the Institute in the coming time. Along with that, the Director of the Department of Health expressed his sincere thanks to the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion for its attention, support and assistance to the Cao Bang health sector.

At the end of the working session, Dr. Vu Duc Binh, Deputy Director of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, acknowledged the development and efforts of the Cao Bang Provincial Health Sector in recent times. He promised to support and assist the Cao Bang Health Sector in the professional fields of Hematology and Blood Transfusion. so that Cao Bang health sector continues to develop, successfully fulfill its task of protecting, caring for and improving people's health.
