With the achieved results, in 2024, the Quang Nam Provincial People's Procuracy and 5 district-level People's Procuracy units were awarded the Emulation Flag by the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy. The Provincial People's Procuracy Party Committee was classified as "Excellently completing its tasks".

Speaking at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet congratulated and commended the collective achievements of the Quang Nam Provincial Procuracy in 2024.

In particular, the Provincial People's Procuracy coordinated with functional agencies to discover and solve many transnational crime rings such as the ring transporting 198kg of drugs, the ring operating loan sharking in civil transactions, property extortion, illegal transportation of goods and currency across the border, etc.

Emphasizing that 2025 is an important year, the year to organize Party congresses at all levels leading up to the 23rd Provincial Party Congress and celebrate many major events of the country, comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet requested the People's Procuracy at two levels of Quang Nam province to focus on synchronously, drastically and effectively implementing tasks right from the beginning of the year; continue to innovate strongly and comprehensively in all aspects.

In particular, it is necessary to focus on Party building work associated with building a clean and strong Procuracy sector. Carefully prepare the content and personnel for the Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Proactively, urgently, and actively implement seriously the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus for effective and efficient operation in accordance with the direction of superiors.

Including ending the activities of the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Procuracy, establishing Party Committees under the Party Committees of Party agencies, mass organizations, People's Councils, and provincial judiciary according to the project of the Provincial Party Standing Committee. Directing the Que Son District People's Procuracy to soon stabilize the organization and start operating smoothly after the merger.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested the Provincial People's Procuracy to be proactive and further promote the role of the sector in performing the advisory function, proposing to the Party Committee to lead, direct, and perform internal affairs tasks, and prevent corruption, waste, and negativity.

Focus on promptly and seriously resolving criminal cases on corruption, economics, complicated and pending cases, not letting them drag on; promptly and accurately advise and propose cases and cases under the supervision of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity.

The Provincial People's Procuracy continues to improve the quality of practicing the right to prosecute, supervise investigation and trial activities, ensure the prosecution of the right person, the right crime, the right law, not wrongfully convicting innocent people, not letting criminals escape...

Praising the results achieved by the Quang Nam Provincial People's Procuracy in 2024, Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy Nguyen Quang Dung noted that the Quang Nam Procuracy needs to be more proactive in exercising the right to prosecute and supervise judicial activities, meeting the "4S" requirements (earlier, closer, deeper, sharper); ensuring against wrongful convictions and missed crimes; not criminalizing economic, civil, administrative relations and vice versa.

Effectively carry out the work of supervising judicial activities; innovate the methods of supervision, strengthen thematic surprise supervision of prominent areas, cases of interest to National Assembly deputies and public opinion to promptly detect violations of the law in judicial activities.
