Motorcycle sales in the third quarter decreased by 9.37% over the same period.

(CT) - According to the Vietnam Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers (VAMM), the number of motorcycles consumed domestically in the third quarter of 2025 reached 621,732 vehicles, an increase of about 1.7% compared to the second quarter and a decrease of 9.37% compared to the same period in 2024. This data was compiled from 5 VAMM members: Honda Vietnam, Piaggio Vietnam, Suzuki Vietnam, SYM Vietnam and Yamaha Motor Vietnam.

In addition to maintaining traditional gasoline motorbike lines, in the context of green transformation, VAMM members are expanding their electric and hybrid motorbike portfolio, aiming for sustainable development goals. For example, Honda has the first domestically assembled electric motorbike line ICON e:; Yamaha has the NEO'S and LEXi 155cc hybrid models.

The motorbike market in Vietnam is currently quite vibrant with the presence of many products in different segments, giving consumers many choices. Motorbike manufacturers, dealers, and shops are actively implementing promotional programs and financial incentives to stimulate consumption in the last quarter of the year.
