Vietnam unveils website and virtual exhibitor at EXPO 2025

NDO - On April 15, at the EXPO 2025 World Exhibition in Osaka, Kansai, Japan, the Vietnam Exhibition House held a ceremony to launch the official website and Virtual Exhibition House.

Attending the event were Mr. Pham Quang Hieu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Japan; Mr. Ngo Trinh Ha, Consul General of Vietnam in Osaka; Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hoa, General Representative of Vietnam at EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Director of the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism); Mr. Phan Thanh Hai, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City.

This is a comprehensive information portal, providing viewers with detailed content about highlights, exhibition content, event schedules, and the latest updates about Vietnam Expo. At the same time, it also posts images, introduces the culture, country, people, and attractive destinations of Vietnam.

The Virtual Vietnam Exhibition House is located on the Virtual EXPO application (Virtual EXPO 2025). The “Virtual EXPO - Yumeshima in the Sky” application is an online platform that allows users to visit virtual exhibition houses recreated and developed from more than 150 national exhibitors and international organizations participating in EXPO 2025. With unique experiences, users can choose their own avatar, equip items, interact with other visitors, etc.

In the virtual EXPO application, the Vietnam Exhibition is located on the Island of Light, with a prominent facade featuring the image of Meritorious Artist Le Giang playing the monochord at Van Long lagoon ( Ninh Binh ).

With the background music "Floating Water Fern" arranged and conducted by artist Dong Quang Vinh, performed by the New Vitality Orchestra, visitors to the Virtual Vietnam Exhibition House have the opportunity to learn about bronze drums - Vietnam's national treasure; admire the Phuong Bao ao dai - restored from the ao dai believed to belong to Queen Nam Phuong; learn about Vietnam's history through illustrations by artist Ta Huy Long; experience unique Vietnamese water puppetry; enjoy films introducing Vietnam's famous landscapes...

More specifically, as soon as they enter the Virtual Vietnam Exhibition House, visitors will be given avatars wearing ao dai and conical hats and invited to wave the Vietnamese flag.

Sharing at the event, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hoa, General Representative of Vietnam at EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan said: The virtual Vietnam Exhibition Hall is a tool for audiences around the world to access EXPO 2025 and the Vietnam Exhibition Hall 24/7. Thereby, they can better understand the culture, country and people of Vietnam. The virtual Exhibition Hall also connects to the official website of the Vietnam Exhibition Hall to provide more information to viewers.

Also at the event, promoting Hue - a heritage city of Vietnam, a destination of Vietnam in the National Tourism Year 2025, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City Phan Thanh Hai said: "With a rich history, culture and sustainable development orientation, Hue is strongly striving to become a leading tourist center not only of Vietnam but also of Southeast Asia and Asia in the near future. On this occasion, the Vietnam Exhibition House will coordinate with the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City to organize an event to announce the Hue National Tourism Year 2025 and celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification at EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
