Vietnam - Greece want to expand potential tourism market

(NLDO)- Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, hopes to create a market for tourists from Vietnam to Greece and vice versa.

Vietnam tourism is growing strongly with the increasing demand for international experiences of tourists. In that trend, Greece stands out as an attractive destination, with beautiful beaches, long-standing cultural heritage, unique cuisine and diverse and rich natural landscapes.

Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, hopes to create a market for tourists from Vietnam to Greece and vice versa.

To support Vietnamese travel businesses to have deeper access to Greek tourism products, the Hanoi Tourism Association has just coordinated with Turkish Airlines and Bloom Group Company to organize a program to introduce Greek Landtour products. The event attracted the participation of nearly 50 travel businesses and representatives of management agencies, diplomatic agencies and international partners.

Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, said that the introduction of Greek tourism products in Hanoi is expected to contribute to expanding connections and supporting Vietnamese businesses to access potential international markets.

Attractive tourist destinations of Greece are introduced to Vietnamese tourists

"The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism strongly supports businesses that invest and innovate to create wonderful itineraries for Vietnamese and Greek tourists to Vietnam. We hope that there will be many Vietnamese tourists going to Greece and many Greek tourists coming to Vietnam" - Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism expressed.

Chairman of the Hanoi Tourism Association Nguyen Manh Than assessed that the introduction of appropriate policies and prices will create favorable conditions for Vietnamese travel businesses to build tours and bring tourists to Greece. With the close cooperation of all parties, Greece will have preferential prices so that Vietnamese people have the opportunity to travel to the neighboring country.

Greece has a diverse natural landscape.

"We request the Greek Embassy to facilitate visa applications for Vietnamese citizens and also request Greek Airlines to offer preferential prices to help Vietnamese tourist groups come," said Mr. Nguyen Manh Than.

The Chairman of the Hanoi Tourism Association also suggested that the two sides soon implement famtrip programs to enhance mutual understanding, and Bloom Group offer appropriate pricing policies to facilitate Vietnamese travel businesses in building tours and bringing tourists to Greece.

Deputy Ambassador of Greece to Vietnam Christos Chatzopoulos said that with its Mediterranean climate, unique landscapes and rich cultural heritage, Greece continues to maintain its appeal to global tourists. The Vietnamese market is considered by Greece to have potential, with a target of 30% growth in the number of visitors in the coming time.
