Mr. Le Van Quang, Director of K Hospital, gave gifts to patients who are teachers.

Patient T. shared that more than 30 years of teaching helped her understand the hardships of the teaching profession, but when she entered the hospital, she realized that "the medical profession is much more stressful and demanding."

She was touched by the hospital's care and encouragement. "Every day during treatment, we see doctors and nurses working wholeheartedly for the patients, so we are very grateful. Today, we - teachers from many localities who are being treated for cancer - are very touched to receive this gratitude. This is not only a gift but also a companion when we are in the most difficult period" - the female teacher expressed.

Thanking the hospital for its care, teacher Bui Thi MT (35 years old, living in Hai Phong ) said she discovered nasopharyngeal cancer when she was 22 weeks pregnant. She gave birth at week 35 and started chemotherapy when the baby was 10 days old. Leaving her two young children and her one-month-old baby boy to go to the hospital for treatment, according to patient Tr., the hospital's care gave her more hope: "I have to try to return to my children soon, and return to my teaching job after 12 years of dedication."

K Hospital gives gifts and encourages cancer patients who are teachers

Sharing with cancer patients, Prof. Dr. Le Van Quang, Director of K Hospital, said that for many years the hospital has always focused on practical gratitude activities. He emphasized that this is also an opportunity to remind the team of doctors and medical staff of the tradition of "remembering the source of drinking water", spreading the humanistic values of the medical profession, accompanying patients and showing respect and gratitude to teachers who have devoted themselves to the cause of "cultivating people".

Professor Quang said that with advances in medicine, many cancers can now be cured or have their life expectancy significantly extended. He hopes that patients will continue to fight steadfastly, while emphasizing that detecting cancer at an early stage helps to treat it more effectively and increase the survival rate.
