Vietnam wishes to accompany Korea in the era of national growth

At the reception, Permanent Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Vu highly appreciated the active role of Korea in promoting Mekong-Korea cooperation in recent times, and believed that the land of kimchi will continue to closely cooperate to promote its role as co-chair of this cooperation mechanism in 2025.

Emphasizing that Vietnam always attaches importance to the Vietnam-Korea Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Vu hopes that Korea will accompany the S-shaped country in the era of national development.

In particular, the Permanent Deputy Minister requested that the two countries' Foreign Ministries continue to cooperate effectively to implement the contents agreed upon during the visit to Vietnam by Korean Foreign Minister Cho Tae Yul in April 2025.

Thanking the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the warm and sincere welcome, Director Lee Dong-gy hopes to work with the Ministry to effectively implement the Action Program to implement the Vietnam-Korea Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

In addition, Director Lee Dong-gy also affirmed that he will continue to closely coordinate with the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in promoting Korea-ASEAN relations and regional cooperation mechanisms, including Mekong-Korea cooperation.
