During the tour to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), on May 11, the Vietnam Drama Theater Troupe, together with the staff of the Vietnamese Consulate General in Khon Ken, Thailand, offered incense and flowers to President Ho Chi Minh at the relic site named after him.
At Vietnam Street, the Vietnam Drama Theater had a performance to exchange with overseas Vietnamese in Udon Thani, the province with the largest overseas Vietnamese population in Thailand.
In his welcoming speech to the Vietnam Drama Theater, Vietnamese Consul General in Khon Ken, Thailand Dinh Hoang Linh emphasized that commemorating and paying tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, the national liberation hero, world cultural celebrity, the great leader who devoted his entire life to freedom, national independence and the happiness of the Vietnamese people, is an extremely meaningful activity.

Through the play, overseas Vietnamese in Thailand, who always have special respect for President Ho Chi Minh, are more moved and have a deeper understanding of his feelings, moral values, and noble style.
The performance of the Troupe also consistently demonstrates the affection and responsibility of the Party, State and people in the country towards our compatriots living far away from the Fatherland.

Mr. Luong Xuan Hoa, member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Vietnamese Association in Udon Thani, on behalf of overseas Vietnamese, expressed his joy and honor to welcome the delegation for the second time at Vietnam Street, where people always strive to preserve and spread the cultural identity and fine traditions of the Vietnamese people, especially on this important anniversary of the country.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Drama Theater Kieu Minh Hieu said that the troupe of artists was honored and moved to serve the overseas Vietnamese community in Northeast Thailand. The patriotism and respect for President Ho Chi Minh of the people were a great source of motivation and meaningful inspiration for the troupe's staff and artists during the trip.
