Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign: Continuing the meaningful journey

Over the past 25 years since its launch by the Central Youth Union, the "Summer Youth Volunteer" campaign has become an indispensable activity for each youth union base and youth union members. With the motto of being widespread, safe, effective and sustainable, this year's "Summer Youth Volunteer" campaign continues to be deployed by the Tha Nguyen Provincial Youth Union in association with the political tasks and practical needs of each locality and unit in the province.

The summer "Youth Volunteer" campaign is an opportunity for youth union members to contribute their youth to building their homeland and participating in meaningful activities.

The 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign (TNTN) takes place from May to August, with 1 program "Supporting the exam season" and 4 branch campaigns. In particular, the "Green Summer" and "Red Flamboyant" campaigns are for teachers, students, and local youth; the "Green March" campaign is for the armed forces; the "Pink Holiday" campaign is for cadres, civil servants, public employees, young workers, and young entrepreneurs.

Nearly 85,000 union members from over 400 union bases are a strong force actively participating in the campaign, contributing to spreading good values ​​in the community.

Implementing the theme "TNTN for the community - Pioneering digital transformation - Building a smart homeland, sustainable development", the TNTN summer campaign in 2025 continues to be deployed synchronously throughout the province, focusing on disadvantaged localities with a large population of ethnic minorities, localities building new rural areas, civilized urban areas...

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Yen, Deputy Head of the Movement Board of the Provincial Youth Union, said that the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign sets out 10 key targets, such as: Implementing 100 youth projects and tasks to welcome party congresses at all levels, prioritizing practical projects associated with the local socio -economic development tasks; planting 200,000 new trees, repairing 20km, and building 5km of new rural roads; ensuring that each commune, ward, and town has at least 1 "Digital Literacy" team, supporting digital capacity building, cashless, and administrative reform for at least 5,000 children and people; organizing at least 30 free swimming classes for children, establishing 9 Youth Volunteer teams to propagate and prevent drowning for children; organizing 30,000 youth union members to participate in volunteer activities deployed by youth organizations and associations...

Community orientation, care for policy families, people in difficult areas... are the main activities in youth volunteer activities.

The opening of the TNTN summer campaign is the "Supporting Exam Season" program taking place from May to August, with the peak being from May 29 to June 30, with activities revolving around the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year and the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.

Youth Union bases in the province all focus on organizing on-site volunteer activities, connecting self-established volunteer organizations to attract a large number of youth union members and social forces to participate.

Mr. Vu Thanh Trung, Secretary of the Youth Union of Phu Binh High School, said: We have implemented support activities before the exam, psychological counseling to "energize" the candidates... Along with that, the School's Youth Union trained the members of the school's youth shock team and volunteers in skills to support candidates to ensure that students participating in the upcoming 10th grade entrance exam have the best exam conditions.

As for the four branch campaigns, the provincial Youth Union chapters will focus on organizing activities to participate in building new rural areas, building civilized urban areas, protecting the environment, and responding to climate change...
