Ho Chi Minh City delegation gives support to Thai Nguyen people

On the morning of November 13, the delegation of Propaganda and Mass Mobilization, Press and Publishing Department of Ho Chi Minh City worked in Thai Nguyen province.

The working delegation included comrades: Pham Quy Trong, Deputy Head of Department 3 of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Duong Anh Duc, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Tran Trong Dung, Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association in charge of the Southern region.

Welcoming the delegation were comrades: Do Thi Minh Hoa, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Bui Van Luong, member of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee.

At the working session, comrade Bui Van Luong provided an overview of the socio -economic development situation of Thai Nguyen province in 2025; development directions and plans for 2026 and the 2025-2030 period.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee sincerely thanked the delegation for their sentiments and sharing with policy families, poor households, and students in difficult circumstances, demonstrating the spirit of affection and attachment between Ho Chi Minh City and Thai Nguyen province.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Duong Anh Duc shared the difficulties and losses of Thai Nguyen province in the recent storm; at the same time expressed his admiration for the spirit of efforts to overcome the consequences, quickly stabilize life and restore the local economy.

The delegation presented 500 national flags to Thai Nguyen province.

The working delegation presented gifts to policy households with difficult circumstances in the province.

The delegation gave gifts to students in difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, the delegation presented 500 national flags; presented gifts to 20 policy households in difficult circumstances (each gift worth 1 million VND); 30 households in difficult circumstances affected by storms and floods (each gift worth 3 million VND); presented gifts to 50 students in difficult circumstances; presented children's bookcases and 1 Ho Chi Minh cultural space bookcase.

With sincere gratitude for the sentiments of the Ho Chi Minh City delegation, comrade Do Thi Minh Hoa said that this is a very meaningful source of encouragement, helping people in difficult circumstances to have more confidence to rise up in life.
