Effective coordination in organizing the entrance exam for grade 10 high school

Implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches, and functional forces in the province have been actively coordinating and synchronously implementing plans to ensure that the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year is held safely, seriously, objectively, in accordance with regulations, and effectively.

As the host unit, the Department of Education and Training plays a key role in the preparation and comprehensive management of the exam. Based on the strict implementation of the Prime Minister 's Official Dispatch No. 58, the Department of Education and Training has issued specific guidance documents and detailed implementation of the exam plan to all schools and staff and teachers in the province.

The Director of the Department of Education and Training is the official spokesperson and is fully responsible to the Provincial People's Committee for the preparation, organization, propaganda, and handling of arising incidents.

The Department focuses on communication work, helping students and parents understand the regulations and new points in this year's exam, creating a proactive and confident mindset for candidates. In particular, personnel work is carefully selected. There are more than 2,700 officials from various sectors participating in the exam organization.

The team of test-setting, exam-invigilating, and exam-marking staff all have good expertise, good moral qualities, a high sense of responsibility, and have fully participated in training courses on exam organization.

The Department also inspected the facilities at the examination sites, ensuring conditions of lighting, tables and chairs, fans, electricity, water, fire prevention and fighting... The 24/7 hotline receives and responds to feedback from parents and students.

Close coordination between departments and branches is a decisive factor for the success of the exam. Playing a key role in ensuring the safety, security and order of the exam, the Provincial Police have developed a detailed plan for securing exam papers, ensuring safety during the printing and transportation process; assigned supervisors at exam sites and marking areas; at the same time, measures to prevent, detect and handle violations such as using high-tech equipment to cheat on exams and spreading false information have also been planned in detail and implemented resolutely.

The Department of Construction coordinates with the police force and local authorities to regulate traffic, handle flooding, ensure smooth traffic around exam locations; direct transportation units to keep ticket prices stable, and support candidates and their families to travel conveniently.

The Department of Science and Technology coordinates with Viettel Vinh Phuc and VNPT Vinh Phuc to ensure the technological infrastructure for the exam registration and management system. The Department of Finance proactively advises and arranges timely and sufficient funding to serve the organization of the exam. Vinh Phuc Electricity Company makes a detailed plan to ensure a stable power source for the entire system, especially at exam locations and the Department of Education and Training.

The provincial health sector plays a key role in ensuring health care, disease prevention and food safety during the organization of the 10th grade high school entrance exam.

Deputy Director of the Department of Health Phung Thi Thu Ha said: "The Department has directed specialized departments and medical centers in districts and cities to arrange medicine and a team of doctors and nurses on duty at examination sites to ensure the health of candidates and officials participating in the exam.

The industry also coordinates with functional forces to inspect and examine food service establishments to ensure food safety and hygiene and prevent epidemics. Mobile emergency teams have been established, ready to support in any situation that arises.

The communication work for the exam was carried out systematically and multi-dimensionally. Vinh Phuc Newspaper and the provincial Radio and Television Station closely coordinated with the Department of Education and Training in updating official information about the exam.

Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Vinh Phuc Newspaper Do Hoang Hanh said: “Vinh Phuc Newspaper has proactively coordinated with the Department of Education and Training to receive and promptly convey official information about the 10th grade high school entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year, from the review process, new points, the preparation and organization of the exam... Thereby, contributing to raising awareness as well as creating consensus and trust from the people".

At the grassroots level, the People's Committees of districts and cities actively participated, directing the Department of Education and Training and secondary schools to organize review and training for students; directing localities to coordinate in preparing plans to support traffic, prevent floods and inundation at examination sites in mountainous and low-lying areas...

All cases of disabled students and students in difficult circumstances are reviewed and timely support plans are developed. Absolutely no candidate will miss the exam due to travel or financial conditions.

Promoting the pioneering role, the Youth Union at all levels has implemented the plan "Supporting the exam season". At each exam site, there is a team of young volunteers with practical activities such as guiding candidates through procedures, providing drinking water, supporting traffic flow, maintaining order and a clean and safe environment.

In particular, volunteers also coordinate with the police force to maintain security and order, prevent exam cheating and ensure traffic safety for candidates.

Teacher Nguyen Thi Nam Nho, Secretary of the Youth Union of Dong Dau High School (Yen Lac) shared: “The school’s Youth Union considers this an honorable task. The youth volunteer team is ready to support the smooth running of the exam, creating the best conditions for candidates.”

With the close direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the synchronous coordination of departments, branches and sectors and the active participation from the grassroots level, the entrance exam for grade 10 of the 2025-2026 school year is expected to take place successfully, in accordance with regulations, objectively, fairly and safely. This is also an opportunity for the entire political system to demonstrate its responsibility, professionalism and dedication in the work of educating and training human resources for the future.
