Popularizing AI: Arousing the spirit of self-learning and spreading knowledge

Launched at the end of 2024, the program "AI for All" has quickly spread widely in Thai Nguyen province, attracting the active participation of officials, party members, teachers, students and the general public. The program not only helps people get acquainted with modern technology but also creates practical effects in life, gradually making artificial intelligence (AI) a familiar tool, effectively supporting work and daily life.

When people proactively master technology

Grasping the inevitable trend in learning and applying AI, Thai Nguyen province has taken pioneering steps to popularize AI to all classes of people. One of the highlights is the program "Popular AI Learning" for the period 2024-2025 implemented in the province, with the goal of helping at least 50% of workers to be able to use basic AI skills by 2025.

Recently, at the cultural house of residential group No. 9, Trung Vuong ward (Thai Nguyen city), the atmosphere of learning and getting acquainted with AI training software has been bustling.

Mr. Chu Minh Toan, member of the Party Committee of the Residential Group and Deputy Head of the Security and Order Protection Team at the grassroots level, directly guided the party members in the group to practice. Mr. Toan shared: At first, many people thought AI was a distant thing, but through regular training and practice, I found that this technology can completely support work. For example, supporting faster report drafting, searching for documents, processing images for propaganda, or even helping to analyze simple data for local management. The AI ​​training movement has created a new wave of learning, helping each citizen to raise awareness and be more proactive in digital transformation.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Ly, Secretary of Party Cell 9, Trung Vuong Ward, although retired, still actively participates in the program. She said: Up to now, I have maintained training for 20 consecutive days. Access to AI not only helps me understand digital transformation better but also provides practical support in propaganda work at the Party cell. For example, I have learned how to create presentations more easily, edit text quickly, even use AI to translate or search for documents for Party cell activities, and coordinate with neighborhood groups more effectively.

Not only in the residential community, the movement of learning and applying AI is also spreading strongly in schools. Mr. Ta Van Long, a Math teacher at Nguyen Du Secondary School (Thai Nguyen City), said: I am using a number of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, Kling AI, Animiz... to support lesson planning, design visual lectures and personalize learning content. AI is opening up new, flexible and modern teaching methods. Students can look up knowledge, practice skills, and even receive support from AI "tutors" 24/7. However, teachers need to control the content created by AI, avoid dependence and guide students to use AI properly and ethically.

The AI ​​training movement of officials and people is a vivid proof of the spirit of lifelong learning and innovation from the grassroots, contributing to bringing digital transformation closer to each citizen. Building a solid foundation for universal AI adoption

The project to develop digital capacity in Thai Nguyen province for the period 2024-2025, focusing on the plan to implement the program "AI for the people" in the province, aims to improve knowledge, skills and working attitudes in the digital environment for all classes of people, promoting digital transformation.

Specific goals by 2025: 100% of districts and cities issue plans and launch participation in the program; 100% of agencies and units establish core groups to spread AI; 100% of cadres, civil servants and public employees are trained and apply AI platforms to support their work; strive for 80% of business owners, cooperatives, individual business households and 80% of people of working age to participate in basic AI skills training, with at least 50% of them using it proficiently.

To realize the goal, the program "AI for All" is built to suit each student, with 5 levels from basic to advanced and a standardized learning material system on the LuyenAI.vn platform. Modern combined learning methods include Micro-learning (15 minutes a day), Feynman technique (learning through teaching) and Gamification (learning while playing, playing while learning).

Mr. Le Cong Thanh, Director of InfoRe Technology Company, the founder and operator of the LuyenAI.vn system, affirmed: The goal of the project is to help people learn how to use AI in a simple way and turn it into a daily working tool. For example, farmers can use AI to forecast crops, optimize productivity, reduce costs; analyze images and identify pests, soil moisture, etc.
