The Ambassador was pleased to inform the Secretary of State of Mozambique about the economic and trade cooperation between Vietnam and Mozambique in recent times.
Trade exchanges between the two sides have been maintained regularly. In recent years, Vietnam has exported over 100 million USD/year to the Mozambique market with key products being rice and fertilizer; at the same time, Mozambique has also emerged as an important coal export partner of Vietnam.
Informing that many Vietnamese enterprises are interested and wish to learn about the market and seek cooperation opportunities with Mozambique's trade partners, the Ambassador respectfully requested Secretary of State António Grispos and relevant agencies of Mozambique to continue to pay attention and create conditions for businesses of the two countries to connect, exchange, cooperate and trade, on the basis of the traditional solidarity and good cooperation between the two countries, concretizing the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation that the two sides have signed in the past.
