The program is hosted by the Vietnam - Singapore Friendship Association, in collaboration with the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (VCB) and Singaporean startup company Block71, and is encouraged by Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation. Mr. Pang Te Cheng, Consul General of Singapore in Ho Chi Minh City, participated in the program.

At the event, delegates shared that in the era of strong development of artificial intelligence (AI), traditional boundaries are blurring, giving way to creative connections between large enterprises and startups, between technology corporations and local communities, between business intelligence and humane hearts.
Delegates affirmed that people-to-people diplomacy today does not stop at handshakes at the dinner table, but is demonstrated through sustainable connections, nurtured by concrete actions, from sharing among social classes to the connection between business will and community responsibility.

The program also recorded many practical cooperation results between Vietnam and Singapore, showing that the connection is not only in the government or large enterprises but also spread to each startup, each community, and each incubated idea. Typical models are the VSIP (Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park) model and the Block71 Innovation Center in Ho Chi Minh City, jointly operated by the National University of Singapore, which have become a launching pad for many Vietnamese technology startups to connect with the ASEAN and world startup networks. In addition, the Singapore - Vietnam Young Leaders Program and the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association are contributing to the formation of a new generation of business leaders - dynamic, globally minded, and committed to the community.
