Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company informed that on August 19, at village 2, Tay Son commune, Gia Lai province, the company will coordinate with Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee to organize the groundbreaking ceremony of Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Factory.
According to Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company, this is a breakthrough and strategic event, marking the beginning of a new development phase of Vietnam's agricultural sector; creating a strong impression for the milestone of the strategic investment project in the Central region.
At the same time, this is also an important opportunity to promote the potential for local economic development, while promoting strategic cooperation between Vinanutrifood and domestic and foreign partners, especially Chinese enterprises.
A representative of Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company informed that Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh is the first unit in Vietnam to exclusively purchase technology to manage growing areas using artificial intelligence (AI) and trace origin using blockchain.
“We not only sell safe and organic agricultural and forestry products that meet European and American organic standards, but also provide peace of mind to the domestic and international markets by being transparent from the raw material area controlled via satellite using Al technology, transparent to the factory managing each production batch, testing by production batch and extracting data to the Al blockchain platform. With just one touch of scanning the QR code, we can connect from the growing area in real time to the processing factory - logistics is transparently Al to cyberspace using technology, serving the goal of building a circular, netzero agricultural value chain”, the company representative informed.
At the same time, Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh is also the first factory to sign a request for independent monitoring by national testing units for domestic goods and international testing for export goods.
On January 17, 2024, Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company was approved by the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province for investment policy at the same time as approving the investor to implement the Project of Concentrated Agricultural and Forestry Production and Processing Area in Village 2, Binh Nghi Commune, Tay Son District.
On an area of 10 hectares, the Project aims to produce and process concentrated agricultural and forestry products with a scale of 10,000 tons/year of animal feed; 20,000 tons/year of canned fruit; 1,000 tons/year of instant fruit; 2,000 tons/year of functional foods; and 5,000 m3/year of cosmetics.
The factory is organized to produce and consume an area of 2,500 hectares of raw materials; the total investment in phase 1 is up to nearly 500 billion VND. The main raw materials are locally available agricultural products such as mango; coconut; pineapple; chili; medicinal herbs (perilla, lemon basil, lemongrass); ginseng; longan; moneywort; solanum procumbens...
According to Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company, advanced processing and extraction technology is applied at the factory such as supercritical CO2 technology; technology to separate essences while keeping their original shape. Instead of importing essences from abroad for mixing, Vinanutrifood has extraction technology to help master the technology, master the supply source and can export essences/active ingredients to the world as a raw material supplier.
At the end of July 2025, the People's Council of Gia Lai province issued a resolution to change the purpose of forest use to another purpose to implement the Project of Concentrated Agricultural and Forestry Production and Processing Zone of Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company.
Accordingly, 4.62 hectares of production forest in Tay Son commune (before July 1, 2025, belonging to plot 1, sub-area 301, Binh Nghi commune, Tay Son district, Binh Dinh province) will have its purpose of use changed to implement the project.
It is known that Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company (a member of Vinapharma Group) is also proposing a Project to Plan the construction of a coconut production area combined with large-scale organic farming of agricultural products under the canopy in Gia Lai province.
The project is a driving force to rapidly increase crop, livestock and aquatic product productivity, creating a concentrated raw material area to supply processing and export.
