He played the main role in many famous cai luong plays such as: "Weaving brocade", "Where there is enemy, we go", "The flag of resistance"...
Meritorious Artist Ca Le Hong emphasized: "He is an artist with a strong talent for playing the main roles, trusted by any stage. And when he became a teacher, he still maintained that neatness and standards. Artist Thanh Tung is a shining example in artistic work."
She also recounted a turning point in his life. After the country was reunified, when she was assigned to the South as Principal of the Stage Arts School II (now the University of Theatre and Cinema in Ho Chi Minh City), she was the one who invited artist Thanh Tung to come to Ho Chi Minh City to teach.
From that opportunity, he devoted his life to the lecture platform, passing on his professional experience, stage ethics and serious working spirit to many generations of young actors. Among them, many have become famous, loved by the public and continue to inherit and spread the values he cultivated.
