Vietnam Glory 2023: Passionately contributing to the community

Honor, pride, excitement and emotion are the feelings of the individuals and groups honored in the Vietnam Glory Program 2023. These are all outstanding examples of promoting the country's socio-economic development in accordance with the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam .

Great motivation

Traveling from Da Nang to Hanoi on the morning of June 3 with his wife and children, Mr. Tran Van Khoi - 2nd Deputy Captain of SAR 412 felt honored and proud to be one of 11 individuals honored in the Vietnam Glory Program 2023.

“Although it is just my daily work, I am recognized and honored by the leaders of the Party, the State, and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor . I feel very touched and moved to be present at the ceremony. This honor is not only for me personally but also for my whole family,” Mr. Khoi expressed.

According to Mr. Khoi, people who have accidents at sea consider people like him as their only source of support. They feel more secure when there are rescue workers present. Mr. Khoi is always concerned about how to protect the safety of seafarers; minimize risks and damages for those who are unfortunate enough to have accidents at sea.

For the first time in the history of Vietnam’s maritime rescue, he was awarded the “Exceptional Act of Courage” by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). The awards, prizes and honors are a great motivation for the deputy captain to continue to perform his duties and tasks well.

Talking to reporters, Mr. Khoi always remained modest and mentioned the contributions of his colleagues in the industry. According to him, without the support from his teammates and leaders, he could not have completed his tasks well at work; contributing to the development of the country according to the orientation of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

All for the community

Representing the Party Executive Committee of Hau Giang Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, Mr. Le Thanh Hai could not hide his emotion and pride when attending the honoring program.

“The achievement is due to the efforts, efforts and implementation of the employees in the whole company. I am the director of the company branch in Hai Phong, and also a member of the Party Committee of the Company, and I am honored to represent the Company's Party Committee to attend the award ceremony,” Mr. Hai said emotionally.

Mr. Hai emphasized that through the movements, the Party Committee and the Union of Hau Giang Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company are very close to the workers to create common achievements. According to Mr. Hai, in the North, Hau Giang Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company has 10 branches and is a Party Cell. "The Party Cell regularly meets and exchanges through meetings on Zalo and email. The Party Committee of the company also regularly directs so that the entire company from top to bottom is unanimous and united in all tasks" - Mr. Hai said.

In 50 years of operation, Hau Giang Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (a company with foreign capital dominated by Japan accounting for about 51%) has made positive contributions to protecting and improving people's health; in which, the practical direction of the Company's Party Committee has always been the leading factor helping employees stabilize their work, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the period of social distancing, “3 on-site” must be implemented. Officers, workers, and civil servants must stay at the company to eat, sleep, live, and work; completely isolated from their families. The company must ensure the quality of life of its employees, while maintaining production pace and even increasing labor productivity. All branches of the company must operate drug distribution normally.

As one of the 5 honored representatives, on behalf of the company's Party Committee, Mr. Hai shared: "How to make the community's life healthier and more beautiful; using high technology to produce pills and pharmaceuticals that meet the standards of advanced countries in the world at prices suitable for Vietnamese people is the effort of our entire company" - Mr. Hai emphasized.

The Vietnam Glory Program was first held on May 1, 2004, and has been held annually since then. As of 2023, a total of 274 groups and individuals have been honored through 18 Vietnam Glory programs, including 100 groups and 174 individuals.
