Hot weather will return to Hai Duong from May 19

The weather forecast bulletin of the provincial Hydrometeorological Station at 3:00 p.m. on May 18 informed: From the night of May 18 to 20, the low pressure area in the west tends to develop and gradually expand to the southeast. The weather in Hai Duong province will be cloudy, no rain at night, sunny during the day, southeast wind level 2, the highest temperature of the day will fluctuate between 33 - 34 degrees Celsius.

On May 21 and 22, the low pressure area in the west developed and expanded, the weather in Hai Duong was cloudy, no rain at night, hot and sunny during the day, the highest temperature was 35 degrees Celsius.

From May 23 to 25, the low pressure trough is compressed, so the weather in the province is cloudy, with rain, showers and thunderstorms in some areas, with a 60% chance of rain, and the highest temperature of the day is around 31 - 32 degrees Celsius. Thunderstorms are likely to cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

In the following days, the continental high pressure will strengthen weakly, the clouds will change, there will be no rain at night, sunny in the afternoon, and the southeast wind will be level 2.

Hot days pose a risk of explosions, fires in residential areas and forest fires due to increased electricity demand and low humidity.

People should limit going out and being exposed to hot weather for long periods of time to reduce the risk of dehydration, exhaustion and heat stroke.
