Despite many propaganda and mobilization campaigns, some households whose land was recovered under the Chi Linh Ecological Urban Area Project still do not agree with the compensation and support plan.

The People's Committee of Chi Linh City will organize the compulsory land recovery of 9 households in Le Loi commune to implement the Investment Project to build a road to the Con Son - Kiep Bac relic site (1/2 of the left route from An Linh intersection to Dau Rong intersection) and 47 households in Chi Minh ward to implement the Chi Linh Ecological Urban Area Project.

The city requires localities to continue to propagate and mobilize households to accept compensation plans and support site clearance before conducting forced land acquisition.

The total land acquisition area for the Project to invest in building a road to the Con Son - Kiep Bac relic site (1/2 of the left route from An Linh intersection to Dau Rong intersection) is more than 94.1 hectares of 96 households in Le Loi and Hung Dao communes. 87 households have agreed to hand over the land.

The total land acquisition area for the Chi Linh Ecological Urban Area Project Phase 1 is more than 55 hectares in Chi Minh and Van An wards. 420 households have agreed to hand over the land.

The authorities of Chi Linh City have taken steps to prepare for compulsory land acquisition in accordance with legal regulations. The People's Committee of Chi Linh City plans to enforce site clearance for projects in late May or early June.
