Vinpearl Phu Quoc is a resort for nearly 4,000 Korean officials.

Vinpearl Wonderworld Phu Quoc will provide all-inclusive vacation packages according to standards and individual needs for 3,800 Korean civil servants from June to December this year.

Kien Giang Tourism and Investment Promotion Center, Korean Public Utility Association (POBA), Vinpearl Joint Stock Company ( Vingroup ) signed a memorandum of understanding on April 17, in Phu Quoc.

Accordingly, 3,800 civil servants and public employees who enjoy POBA's welfare policies and their families will have vacations with preferential policies at the 5-star utility ecosystem of Vinpearl Wonderworld Phu Quoc resort.

This is the first time POBA has cooperated with Vietnamese enterprises and brought Association members to travel and explore the S-shaped strip of land under this special welfare program. POBA chose Vinpearl as its first strategic partner thanks to its imprint from a series of resort complexes located in famous, closed-off coastal tourist destinations, meeting international 5-star service standards. After Phu Quoc, POBA plans to continue expanding this cooperation model throughout the Vinpearl system on a larger scale.

Before signing the cooperation agreement, POBA, with the support of Phu Quoc City People's Committee, Trade Promotion Center and Kien Giang Province Department of Tourism, directly surveyed Vinpearl Wonderworld Phu Quoc on its ability to meet the "double standard" for welfare vacations. The criteria given by the Korean side include: safety and a chain of world-class products and services; along with an ecosystem of thousands of diverse experiences - utilities connected around.

Located on Bai Dai beach, Vinpearl Wonderworld Phu Quoc resort has a neoclassical style with 306 private villas with private swimming pools and large gardens. The villas are decorated according to two themes: Safari - inspired by tropical rainforests and Nautilus - simulating life on the ocean floor. The resort offers many water sports activities at the private beach and main swimming pool (nearly 2,300 m2 wide) with swim up bar, international buffet restaurant chain and Mediterranean-style alacarte, adjacent to the golf course next to the primeval forest...

Mr. Kim Jang Hoi, Chairman of POBA, shared that through the memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation between the parties, Vinpearl Wonderworld Phu Quoc resort will be widely promoted to POBA members. "I am looking forward to this opportunity to introduce many Korean local government officials to experience the beautiful scenery as well as the long-standing and unique culture of Vietnam in general and Phu Quoc in particular," said Mr. Kim Jang Hoi.

Ms. Ngo Thi Huong, Deputy General Director of Sales and Marketing of Vinpearl Joint Stock Company, assessed that the signing of this three-party cooperation marks an important milestone towards strengthening cooperation between the government, businesses and strategic partners. "This will be the basis for joint efforts to promote and market tourism to Phu Quoc pearl island with its natural advantages and excellent, all-inclusive services to potential markets and partners," said Ms. Huong.

According to Ms. Huong, the cooperation event with public administrative organizations, typically POBA, also shows Vinpearl's progress in the Korean market.
