VNG GreenNode opens AI Cloud Data Center in Thailand | Digitalization | Finance

This is one of the first large-scale AI Cloud infrastructures in Southeast Asia, self-operated by the GreenNode team based on a commitment to stable operational capacity - Operational Excellence.

Mr. Dennis Ang, Senior Business Director of NVIDIA Asia, Australia and New Zealand, emphasized that to be able to catch the current wave of GenAI, companies need two factors: the first is AI data center and the second is AI factory. These are also two areas of work that NVIDIA is currently working closely with the VNG GreenNode and STT GDC teams.

" Together, we have completed and delivered the above two key elements to customers. Congratulations on VNG GreenNode's success today and NVIDIA is looking forward to further cooperation opportunities in the future," said Mr. Dennis Ang.

GreenNode's AI Cloud data center located in Bangkok (Thailand) meets global standards. According to GreenNode, the company aims to provide high-end infrastructure and comprehensive AI solutions to customers.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Lionel Yeo - CEO of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres Southeast Asia said: "In the next 4 years, investment in AI will increase significantly, of which about 30% will come from the Asian region. This region is becoming very vibrant and therefore, cooperation between the parties becomes more meaningful. VNG GreenNode has successfully commercialized AI Cloud after only 6 months ".

GreenNode is also a pioneer in Southeast Asia to provide a remote parameter management platform, allowing global customers to access, manage and scale AI training parameters, saving time and effort.

"This milestone has brought positive signals in both technology and business aspects, when the concept has been implemented into reality in just a short time. This is just the first step and we are committed to long-term investment with the goal of becoming the leading AI Cloud provider in Southeast Asia," VNG Founder and CEO Le Hong Minh emphasized.

Most recently, GreenNode has won millions of dollars in contracts to provide AI infrastructure and advanced AI solutions to customers around the world.
