String artists filled the small balconies on the side of the Hanoi Opera House to play on the opening night of the 2.3 Music Garden . The music resonated in that way, resonating with the beauty of the national monument of the Opera House - a famous architectural work and work for performing arts in the capital. The Music Garden is a cultural product organized by the Center for Performing Arts and Cultural Events (under the Hanoi Opera House).
Balconies turned into stages
Singer Tang Ngan Ha, who performed in the Music Garden , said that although she had experienced the feeling of singing on the stage of the "musical cathedral" of the Hanoi Opera House, she was equally moved when singing in the outdoor space of the Music Garden . "I think the Music Garden can organize mini shows to show gratitude to the audience in a friendly and intimate way. The central location of the Opera House will attract tourists to enjoy music, whether foreign or domestic," she said.
The space for the Music Garden includes a campus of more than 3,000 m2 adjacent to the Hanoi Opera House building. This area has been invested with a garden paved with artificial grass and decorated with miniatures. The highlight of the space is the music performance stage, combined with a classical fountain statue. However, what the public likes most is probably the "view" of the Opera House building.
Artists perform outdoors with the Hanoi Opera House architecture as a backdrop
Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet, Director of the Hanoi Opera House, said that there will be 3 performances scheduled for the day. The morning program from 9 am to 12 pm, the afternoon program from 1 pm to 6 pm will feature traditional and classical music. The evening program from 7:30 pm to 10 pm will feature classical and modern music. Thus, although it takes place during the day, the Music Garden will still be partly a new night tourism product with ticket prices ranging from 69,000 to 99,000 VND. It is expected that this unit will also cooperate with embassies in Vietnam to bring foreign music to domestic audiences. The performances of famous domestic and foreign singers in the evening promise to be full of emotions.
Many people expect to have cozy music nights at the Music Garden.
Musician Luu Quang Minh, the arranger and "leader" of the string artists in the Music Garden , shared: "This is truly a beautiful space for outdoor music performances. I have seen many music shows by world artists performed in spaces next to beautiful, ancient architectural works, which brings a different feeling to the audience. The garden space next to a beautiful building like the Hanoi Opera House will be a poetic and luxurious music stage. I hope many music nights by domestic and international artists will take place here."
Hanoi has one more tourism product
Hanoi Opera House, built in the shape of the famous Opéra Garnier in Paris. At first, the theater was a place to hold cultural and artistic events mainly for the French. Since 1940, Vietnamese people have been able to rent the theater for performances. This is also where the Viet Minh Front was launched, with the red flag with yellow star and the song Marching Song by musician Van Cao. After 1945, the theater was a meeting place for the Government and the National Assembly, then became an "artistic sanctuary", a historical and architectural relic.
