Travel technology does not only provide solutions, it is a dedicated journey from the initial idea to market integration, destination stories, gradually creating practical, resonant values.
"City of love"
The digitalization of the tourism industry, in addition to the key role of technology, also requires many other factors, including understanding, sharing and humanity. That is the view of Mr. Nguyen Nam Hai, CEO of TripC AI Application, through the process of accompanying Da Nang to build and deploy electronic travel experience passports in the fields of cuisine , heritage, culture and green tourism.
Mr. Hai said that the city plans to officially operate these applications in November, after carefully preparing content and technology, coordinating with businesses and tourist attractions to introduce unique, quality products on each topic, to increase choices and experiences for tourists.
The digital version of the travel passport is integrated with a variety of user support functions, is multilingual, and is flexible in updating information, policies, promotional programs, and fully displays information about prices, services, and reviews...
“I hope that through these new applications, visitors to Da Nang will be “wow” - delighted and surprised by the modern tourism spirit of the city, “wow” by the thoughtfulness and dedication of a friendly, open and transparent destination in all information. After all, how to apply technology and how to take advantage of technology must come from understanding visitors, from the spirit of progress and transparency, so that every visitor experience is associated with joy, peace of mind, trust, coming to the city is like returning home, being protected, cared for and guided enthusiastically. That is the value of technology that carries “Da Nang humanity”, Mr. Hai shared.
In the near future, the e-passport on the TripC platform will be updated with the “Help” feature - an AI virtual assistant application to promptly support tourists in dangerous and emergency situations such as accidents, getting lost, losing documents, belongings, etc. At the same time, the city is researching and adding a number of other features suitable for actual needs, through surveying, collecting and analyzing user data about their experiences and expectations of Da Nang.
The story behind the technology
After nearly seven months of implementation, in Da Nang, Local Life Asia - a platform connecting tourists and local tourism service providers is focusing on "telling" a unique story about green and sustainable tourism, attracting more and more customers with the same mindset, aspirations and goals.
Mr. Tran Dang Huy, founder and operator of this technology platform, believes that green and sustainable tourism is not simply a few individual experiences, but a vibrant ecosystem.
It is a combination of agricultural economy, cultural identity preservation and especially creating a solid livelihood for local people. Therefore, Local Life was born as a specialized digital bridge, empowering the community, opening up meaningful travel itineraries.
Originally a technological idea, the path Local Life is taking is deep in the real world, with fascinating, profound, and interesting local stories waiting to be discovered and experienced. Mr. Huy and his colleagues have visited many lands and craft villages from Da Nang to other provinces and cities, connecting people with a passion for community tourism and unique local products.
Mr. Huy commented that the trend is taking shape towards slow, profound, and unique tourism, so those who know how to utilize technology to tell unique and special stories that touch the souls and emotions of customers, attract them to come back, and more importantly, encourage them to practice responsible tourism, will go the long way and develop sustainably.
“A technology product with a soul must come from real experiences. The more I travel and explore deeply local tourism products and services, and interact with artisans in craft villages, the more I want to expand the idea of digitalization and connection to bring tourism to remote villages, creating a stable income for local people - the people who are holding, preserving and capable of telling the most profound and authentic local stories,” Mr. Huy shared.
In December, Local Life Asia will continue to add special features to complete the sustainable tourism supply chain, bringing unique tourism products with a breath of life closer to global travelers.
According to Mr. Huy, in order for Da Nang tourism to develop with its own identity, increase its competitive value, and strongly attract tourists, the city needs to focus on exploiting its internal resources in terms of heritage - culture, people, invest in developing key products in depth, and apply technology to spread communication with a consistent, thorough, and humane message.
