Duong Minh Chau Commune organizes 'Full Moon Festival' for children

On the afternoon of October 1, the People's Committee of Duong Minh Chau commune, Tay Ninh province organized the "Full Moon Festival" program for more than 1,000 children and students in the area.

Attending the event were Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh; Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Huynh Vuong Hieu commune; Mr. Pham Mong Diem - Deputy General Director of Dau Tieng Tay Ninh Energy Joint Stock Company.

At the Festival, children enjoyed many special performances such as lion dance, singing and dancing, and participated in quizzes with prizes.

Performance by students of Ngo Van Ranh Primary School

On this occasion, provincial leaders presented 66 gifts to disabled children, each worth 600,000 VND (including gifts and 500,000 VND in cash); leaders of Duong Minh Chau commune and leaders of Dau Tieng Tay Ninh Energy Joint Stock Company presented 190 gifts to children in difficult circumstances, each worth 300,000 VND.

Before entering the main program, children can participate in the " Food Booth" by exchanging coupons for goods, choosing candies, fruits, and drinks according to their preferences.

Provincial and communal leaders give gifts and lanterns to students

The program not only brings children a full Mid-Autumn Festival, filled with warmth and love, but also demonstrates the care and concern of the Party Committee, the government, units and businesses for the young generation, especially children in difficult circumstances and children with disabilities. Thereby, contributing to encouraging and motivating them to excel in their studies and life./.
