Hung Phuoc commune launches campaign to collect weapons, explosives, and firecrackers.

(CTT-Dong Nai) - On October 27th, in Hung Phuoc commune, the local authorities organized the launching ceremony for the "Day of surrendering weapons, explosives, support tools and firecrackers" in the commune.

Overview of the launch event
The intensified campaign aims to control 100% of key areas and routes related to weapons, explosives, supporting tools, and fireworks. Specifically, the entire area must be documented, mapped, and all relevant individuals identified; 100% of relevant individuals must be placed under monitoring and management; and there is a firm resolve to prevent the formation of large-scale stockpiling points, storage networks, buying, selling, and transporting of weapons, explosives, and fireworks.
Citizens participate in handing over weapons and specialized ammunition to law enforcement agencies.
Right at the launch ceremony, authorities collected 5 makeshift weapons and 3 rounds of military ammunition that were voluntarily surrendered by the people.
Law enforcement officers and a large number of officials, Party members, civil servants, and people from all walks of life participated in the parade along the roads in the commune.
Following the ceremony, the forces marched along the DT759B road in the commune to widely disseminate information and create a spirit of determination in preventing and combating illegal acts and maintaining security and order.
