Nam Cam Ranh Commune urgently responds to storm No. 15

On the afternoon of November 26, the People's Committee of Nam Cam Ranh commune sent an urgent document to the villages, departments, branches and organizations of the locality to implement the telegram of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province to respond to storm No. 15. The locality also notified aquaculture households in Cam Ranh Bay to tie up their cages or harvest early.

According to Mr. Ha The An - Chairman of Nam Cam Ranh Commune People's Committee, on the afternoon of November 26, the commune militia force went to the area to reinforce houses for people and some schools in the area. The commune also cut and trimmed tree branches along the inter-village and inter-commune roads to ensure people's safety; counted the number of elderly people, women and children who needed support or urgent evacuation when the storm hit.

Currently, Nam Cam Ranh commune has fully prepared rescue equipment including: life jackets, life buoys, trucks and necessary supplies, gathered at the commune People's Committee headquarters, ready to move to key points when there is a situation. The leaders of Nam Cam Ranh commune affirmed that no one will be left behind, the force will be on duty 24/24 hours, absolutely ensuring the safety of people's lives in response to storm No. 15.
