Phu Thanh Commune organizes 0 VND Market

(DTO) On August 7, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Thanh commune, Dong Thap province and socio-political organizations of the commune organized a 0-VND market to help people in difficult circumstances in the commune.

The market has items including rice, noodles, vegetables, fruits, and necessities to support nearly 100 poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households. The total cost of the market is more than 40 million VND from contributions from Ms. Chau Thi Hoa's family and local charitable organizations and individuals.

The zero-dong market contributes to improving meals for poor families.

The Organizing Committee of the market said that the "Zero-VND Market" program is a humanitarian charity activity promoting the spirit of solidarity, mutual love and mutual assistance of the nation to contribute to the local government in implementing social security work well, helping people in difficult circumstances have more conditions to improve family meals.
