Quang Minh Commune honors collectives and individuals on Vietnamese Teachers' Day

HNP - On November 18, Quang Minh commune held a meeting to honor and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the Education and Training sector on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025).

Quang Minh commune leaders congratulated the Education and Training sector on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Pham Anh Tuan - Vice Chairman of Quang Minh Commune People's Committee said that in Quang Minh commune there are 24 kindergartens, primary schools, middle schools, high schools, vocational education centers - continuing education centers with a total of nearly 20,000 students.

The school system is invested in the direction of standardization and modernization; 100% of classrooms are solidified; department rooms, functional rooms and educational equipment are increasingly improved, meeting the requirements of innovative teaching and learning methods. Schools focus on building a safe, healthy and friendly educational environment; promoting the application of information technology in management and teaching.

Implementing Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on the development of science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation, the Quang Minh commune education sector has proactively applied electronic grade books and transcripts; increased the application of digital platforms in management and teaching; built a digital learning materials warehouse; organized digital skills classes for students; and gradually piloted smart classrooms. These steps are creating a solid foundation for the digital transformation process in local education.

Notably, implementing Resolution No. 18/2025/NQ-HDND of the city on supporting boarding meals for primary school students, the People's Committee of Quang Minh commune has directed schools to organize boarding in accordance with regulations; ensure safe and nutritious meals; strengthen control of food safety and kitchen conditions. Chi Dong Primary School was selected by the city to pilot the boarding model and has successfully implemented it, receiving high appreciation, creating a basis for replicating the safe and effective boarding model in the commune.

Chairman of Quang Minh Commune People's Committee Nguyen Tien Dung awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals.

During the past school year, the Quang Minh Commune Education Sector has achieved many outstanding achievements. The entire sector has 8 individuals receiving Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister ; 8 schools receiving Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the City People's Committee; 15 schools were recognized with the title of "Excellent Labor Collective"; 35 outstanding individuals were commended by the Chairman of the City People's Committee.

On this occasion, the leaders awarded collectives and individuals who received Certificates of Merit from the Hanoi People's Committee and Certificates of Merit from the Quang Minh Commune People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in the past school year.
