Suoi Hiep Commune blocked 8 flood points, evacuated people to safety.

On the morning of November 19, Mr. Vo Van Toan - Chairman of Suoi Hiep Commune People's Committee said that it was raining heavily in the commune; the water level had risen, causing flooding in many places, including the overflow area of ​​Thuy Xuong village; the residential area along Kinh river in Phu Hau village; the residential area along Kinh river in Vinh Cat village; the road to Vinh Cat village; the residential area along Suoi Dau river in Nghiep Thanh village; the overflow of Xuan Phu 1 village and Xuan Phu 2 village; the inter-village road between Hoi Phuoc and Luong Phuoc. Currently, the commune has deployed blockades at these flooded areas; at the same time, maintaining the 24/24-hour Command Committee duty, closely monitoring weather developments and flood discharge at reservoirs to promptly direct response; concentrating human resources to evacuate people in low-lying areas to safety, minimizing damage to people and property.

In addition, due to heavy rain and floods, about 1 hectare of riverside crops and ducks were washed away in the commune; some roads along Kinh River showed signs of subsidence, and an electric pole fell in Luong Phuoc village. In addition, at Ba Nen stream, Xuan Phu 2 village, there was a landslide on the stream bank (this area has not yet been invested in building a reinforced embankment).
