On the morning of August 7, the People's Committee of Vinh Phong commune (An Giang province) held a ceremony to announce the decisions to establish schools on the basis of receiving the original status of schools in Vinh Thuan district, Kien Giang province (old) and the decision to appoint managers of schools in the commune.

Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Phong Commune Huynh Quoc Huy presented the decision to appoint managers of schools in the commune.

At the ceremony, the People's Committee of Vinh Phong commune announced the decision to establish Vinh Phong 2 Secondary School, Vinh Phong 1 Secondary School, Vinh Phong Primary and Secondary School, Vinh Phong 5 Primary School, Vinh Phong 4 Primary School, Vinh Phong 3 Primary School, Vinh Phong 2 Primary School, Vinh Phong 1 Primary School, Vinh Phong Kindergarten, Vinh Phong 2 Kindergarten and Vinh Phong 1 Kindergarten. All newly established schools are under the People's Committee of Vinh Phong commune.

At the same time, the decision to appoint 11 principals and 14 vice principals of schools in the commune was announced.
