Determined all 12 European teams to officially win tickets to the 2026 World Cup

Therefore, Denmark only needed a draw to qualify for the 2026 World Cup. However, they lost 2-4 to Scotland and watched their opponents win the ticket to North America.

Following Switzerland and Scotland is Spain in Group E. In the final round of this group, Spain and Türkiye drew 2-2. This score was enough to help Spain win the top spot in Group E with 16 points (3 points more than Turkey), thereby getting a ticket to the 2026 World Cup.

Similarly, Austria in Group H held their direct opponent Bosnia and Herzegovina to a 1-1 draw. With this result, Austria has 19 points, taking the top spot in Group H (2 points ahead of Bosnia and Herzegovina), thereby winning a ticket to the 2026 World Cup.

The final team to qualify for North America next summer in the early morning of November 19 is Belgium. The Belgian team crushed Liechtenstein 7-0 to take the top spot in Group J with 18 points, 2 points more than Wales.

Before Switzerland, Scotland, Spain, Austria and Belgium, the 2026 World Cup qualifying round in Europe has determined 7 teams to continue: England, France, Croatia, Portugal, Norway, Germany and the Netherlands.
