On April 18, information from the Department of Education and Training of Ben Tre said that it had just directed the Department of Education and Training of Ba Tri to coordinate with the People's Committee of Tiem Tom town (Ba Tri district) to verify the clip of a kindergarten staff stuffing food into children. The clip is said to have occurred at Thu Suong private kindergarten (Tiem Tom town, Ba Tri district).

Previously, on April 16, a clip circulated on social media recorded a scene where a nursery staff member was not calm, had impatient behavior, and was not in control when feeding a child. The nanny even used one hand to hold the child's head, hair up, and the other hand continuously poured food into the child's mouth. At this time, the child was not wearing a shirt, crying, food was regurgitated onto the face, chest, and body...

The above incident was determined to have occurred at Thu Suong Private Kindergarten, in An Binh Quarter, Tiem Tom Town, Ba Tri District.

On April 17, the People's Committee of Tiem Tom town established an inspection team at the above kindergarten.

Upon inspection, the owner of the facility admitted that the images in the clip were filmed there, and the person feeding the children in the clip was a kitchen staff at the facility. The incident occurred around the beginning of April 2025, and on April 16, the clip was posted on social media.

The owner of the facility admitted that the incident happened because the children had poor appetite, so the staff had forced food onto about 3 children aged 1-2 years old. After the incident, the owner of the facility and the staff went directly to the families of the 3 children to admit their mistakes and apologize to the families.

Currently, Thu Suong Kindergarten takes care of 54 children. Through the inspection results, it was discovered that this facility has signs of violating professional regulations, not ensuring the physical and mental safety of children in the activities of nurturing, caring for and educating children according to regulations.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Tiem Tom town has decided to temporarily suspend the operation of Thu Suong kindergarten group and class. The local authorities will coordinate with their families to transfer the children to study at schools, groups and classes in the area.

Ben Tre Department of Education and Training has directed Ba Tri District Department of Education and Training to coordinate with local authorities to strictly handle the incident.
