On the morning of June 6, the Thai Nguyen Newspaper Party Committee solemnly held the 22nd Congress, term 2025-2030. This is the first Party Committee of the Party agencies of Thai Nguyen province to hold a Congress.

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Son, Party Secretary and Editor-in-Chief of Thai Nguyen Newspaper, emphasized: The 22nd Congress takes place in a special context when the press agencies of Thai Nguyen and Bac Kan provinces are merging. The Congress has the important task of reviewing and evaluating the implementation results of the Resolution of the 21st Congress, term 2020-2025; at the same time, deciding on the goals, directions and tasks of the Thai Nguyen Newspaper Party Committee in conjunction with the goals and directions of the Party Committee of the new press agency after the merger in the term 2025-2030.

The political report at the Congress showed that during the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee and Party Cell of Thai Nguyen Newspaper and Radio and Television Station and Bac Kan Newspaper and Radio and Television Station promoted the spirit of solidarity, led cadres and Party members to perform well their political tasks and Party building work. The press agencies effectively carried out the task of propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; ensuring the orientation of public opinion, politics and culture in press products.

The form of expression has been innovated in a modern, multi-platform direction, keeping up with the trend of digital media. In particular, many multimedia press products have been produced with the support of new technologies such as automatic Audio software, artificial intelligence (AI). Digital platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Zalo, TikTok, Instagram... have been strongly developed to spread positive, authentic information on cyberspace.

In addition, agencies continue to maintain and organize many agency-level press competitions with diverse formats and quality content. Many works have won high prizes at provincial and central press awards, including the National Press Award and the National Press Award on Party building "Golden Hammer and Sickle".

Promoting the achieved results, the 22nd Congress determined the direction for the next term as: Continuing to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization; building a team of cadres, party members, and journalists with political mettle, clear professional ethics, solid expertise, and mastery of modern technology. The goal is to build and develop Thai Nguyen Newspaper in the direction of mainstream multimedia communication, convergent, modern, multimedia, and multi-platform press management to successfully complete assigned tasks...

On that basis, the Congress set out 8 main targets for the Party Committee in the 2025-2030 term. In particular, the focus is on ensuring the regular publication of printed publications, radio and television programs according to the Project on merging press agencies of Thai Nguyen and Bac Kan provinces. Maintaining and developing digital platforms to spread positive information on social networks, promoting the image, land and people of Thai Nguyen. Improving the quality of works participating in press awards from provincial to central levels; 100% of Party cells annually complete their tasks well or better; 90% to 95% or more of Party members complete their tasks well; the rate of new Party members meeting and exceeding the targets assigned by superiors...

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Hoang Anh Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the outstanding achievements of the Thai Nguyen Newspaper Party Committee. In the new development period, he requested the Thai Nguyen Newspaper Party Committee to continue to improve its leadership and direction capacity to complete all goals and tasks. In the immediate future, it is necessary to focus on leading and directing the merger of press agencies in Thai Nguyen and Bac Kan provinces; continue to innovate the content and form of presenting press products, build an elite team of journalists, develop Thai Nguyen Newspaper into a key, modern, multi-platform press agency, meeting the requirements of political tasks in the digital transformation period.

At the Congress, comrades who are party members who have excellently completed their tasks for 5 consecutive years (2020-2024) received Certificates of Merit from the Executive Committee of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee.
