On the morning of August 15, Cao Bang Provincial Police held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025); the 80th anniversary of the founding of Cao Bang Public Security (August 22, 1945 - August 22, 2025), and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

On August 22, 1945, the Police Department and the Police Department - the predecessor of Cao Bang Provincial Police - were established.

Through the revolutionary stages, Cao Bang Police has always paid attention to building a clean, strong, elite force, successfully completing all assigned tasks.

From 2020 to present, Cao Bang Police have investigated and solved more than 1,400 criminal cases, prosecuting nearly 3,000 subjects.

The fight against economic crimes and corruption has been stepped up, detecting and handling nearly 1,000 cases, prosecuting 38 cases with 144 defendants.

The police force has dismantled many drug trafficking and transportation rings, arrested 2,300 subjects, seized 228 heroin cakes, and destroyed 33,500 drug-containing plants...

Cao Bang police mobilized 7,819 officers to support the construction and repair of 6,378 temporary and dilapidated houses for people; supported nearly 12 billion VND to build houses and purchase household items for people.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Quan Minh Cuong, Secretary of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, congratulated and commended the achievements of Cao Bang Police over the past 80 years.

In the coming time, the Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee suggested that the Cao Bang Provincial Police continue to build a clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern force to successfully complete all assigned tasks.

Cao Bang police continue to resolutely fight and suppress crime, ensure security and order, for the peace and happiness of the people, contributing to "building a happy Cao Bang".

At the same time, the Provincial Police continue to thoroughly grasp and educate each officer and soldier to consider "Honor as the most sacred and noble thing"; respect the people, be close to the people, understand the people, learn from the people, be closely attached to the people; successfully complete all assigned tasks with the spirit of "good is getting better and better, excellent is getting more and more excellent".

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 11 groups and 5 individuals; awarded prizes for the online contest to learn about the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day; awarded prizes for the writing contest to learn about the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day; and awarded Commemorative Medals for the cause of "Protecting National Security" to 16 individuals.
