Building an aircraft fuel station for Long Thanh Airport

At the same time, for important materials and equipment of the project such as: fuel pipeline materials, pumps, fire trucks, fuel trucks, hydrant pits... orders have been placed with suppliers.

Package 4.9 will start construction in October 2024 and the completion date according to the signed contract is June 2026. However, the progress of the package has been adjusted, and the construction part will be basically completed before December 31, 2025. Equipment installation, connection, and testing of some imported equipment from abroad (valve system, pump, fuel pipe) will be completed in March 2026, 3 months shorter than the signed contract.

This package constructs an aircraft fuel station with a capacity of 5.2 thousand m3/day, 6 floating fuel tanks with a capacity of 6 thousand m3/tank. The pipeline system is arranged underground to the aircraft refueling locations and there are calculations and estimates of waiting points to receive fuel by underground pipelines from the outside.
