Shape of the nearly 1,000 billion VND belt road in Ha Tinh city

In early May, Ha Tinh Industrial Development - Construction and Trade Joint Stock Company mobilized human resources and machinery to construct asphalt concrete on a 400m long section of the Eastern Ring Road project of Ha Tinh City in Thach Hung Ward, Ha Tinh City.

The 400m section of the Eastern Ring Road project of Ha Tinh City through Thach Hung Ward is one of the locations that was handed over clean ground quite early. After a period of monitoring and handling weak soil, the contractor has started digging and filling the roadbed, laying a layer of crushed stone reinforced with cement.

Currently, taking advantage of the dry weather, the contractor has immediately started constructing the first layer of asphalt concrete pavement. According to the design, the road surface of the Eastern Belt Road project of Ha Tinh City will be paved with 2 layers of asphalt concrete.

Machinery is working busily to ensure work progress is on schedule.

About 3km from the asphalt concrete paving site is the section of the route undertaken by Industrial Construction Production Joint Stock Company 3. At this section, the contractor is carrying out earthworks and roadbed compaction.

The hot weather in early May is quite uncomfortable, but this is also the most favorable time for construction works and projects. Taking advantage of the favorable weather, Industrial Construction Production Joint Stock Company 3 is making efforts to speed up the construction progress.

The Eastern Ring Road Project of Ha Tinh City has a total investment of VND 950 billion, using the central budget in the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025 and mobilizing other legal capital sources.

The 15.778 km long route starts at the intersection with Quang Trung Street near Ho Do Bridge, Thach Ha Ward and ends at the intersection with National Highway 1 at Phu Bridge (Dai Nai Ward). Phase 1 of the project will be implemented from February 2023 and managed by the Ha Tinh City Land Fund Development and Investment Project Management Board.

The project is undertaken by a consortium of contractors: Industrial Production and Construction Joint Stock Company 3, Thang Long Construction Joint Stock Company, Bien Dong Consulting and Construction Joint Stock Company, Nhu Nam Company Limited, Construction and Trade Service Joint Stock Company 555 and a number of subcontractors.

After more than 2 years of construction efforts, the shape of the Eastern beltway of Ha Tinh city has gradually taken shape, in which the section from the intersection with Quang Trung street at the foot of Ho Do bridge has been paved with asphalt concrete.

Some locations also have drainage systems installed, underground electrical systems, and fiber optic cables.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Cuong - Director of the Project Management Board for Construction Investment and Land Fund Development of Ha Tinh City said: The project started construction in February 2023. Contractors are focusing on the construction process, ensuring project progress.

According to research, the construction of the Eastern Ring Road project of Ha Tinh City still faces some difficulties and problems, especially in terms of site clearance. Currently, the investor and contractor have not yet been handed over 100% of the site for construction. In some sections of the route through Dong Mon Ward, Thach Hung Ward, Dai Nai Ward... there are still problems with residential land, aquaculture land, and graves that have not been relocated.
