Granite truck caught fire on Cam Lam - Vinh Hao highway

On the afternoon of November 24, the leader of the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PC07) of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police said that at about 3:20 p.m. on November 23, a truck carrying more than 10 tons of granite was traveling in the North-South direction on the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao Expressway. When it reached Km64 in Cong Hai commune, it suddenly caught fire fiercely from the cabin area.

Firefighters quickly put out the fire.

After many minutes of effort, the fire was completely extinguished.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 8 dispatched 2 specialized fire trucks and 13 officers and soldiers to the scene. Because the fire spread quickly, with black smoke rising tens of meters high, the fire fighting force simultaneously deployed water sprayers to control the fire. By 4:20 p.m. the same day, the fire was completely extinguished. The initial damage was estimated at about 95 million VND, mainly the cabin and electrical system were burned down.

Currently, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 8 is coordinating with Cong Hai Commune Police to investigate the cause of the fire.
