On June 2, in Vung Tau City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Radio and Television Station held a press conference and drew lots for the 2025 BRT Television Cup youth football tournament with the presence of national player Nguyen Xuan Son.

Before the press conference, national player Nguyen Xuan Son spent a lot of time interacting with the audience of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Radio and Television Station; and signed autographs for young players participating in the BRT Television Cup 2025 youth football tournament.
Mr. Truong Thanh Phong, Acting Director of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Radio and Television Station, said that in the summer of 2025, the BRT Television Cup will enter its 6th season, with the goal of maintaining a meaningful summer playground for local children, while also hoping that the tournament will continue to help young football talents achieve their dreams.
Over 5 seasons, among more than 12,000 U11 and U13 players participating in the BRT Television Cup, 34 players with outstanding talent were discovered and given opportunities and conditions to go to academies and youth football training centers in the country.
Among these, many players are highly appreciated by coaches and fans; selected for the national youth team or are key players at professional football clubs in the country such as: Dinh Quang Kiet, To Minh Loc, Hoa Xuan Tin; Hoang Trung Khai, Nguyen Hoang Gia Nguyen; Nguyen Trong Phuc, Tran Cong Hoang, Phan Viet Duc...
To participate in the BRT Television Cup 2025, since the end of May, districts and cities in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province have organized youth football tournaments. As a result, localities have selected 8 U.11 teams and 8 U.13 teams.
For each age group, the organizers will draw lots to divide the teams into 2 groups, each group has 4 teams, compete in a round robin to calculate points, select the 1st and 2nd teams to enter the semi-finals, compete in the final of BRT Television Cup season 6, from June 3 to 8 at Ba Ria Stadium.

The opening ceremony, opening match and final match, award ceremony, and closing ceremony will be broadcast live on BRT channel; the BRT Television Cup matches will be livestreamed on the digital platform of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Radio and Television Station.
Previously, in 2024, the organizing committee signed a cooperation agreement in testing and selecting players from the BRT Television Cup youth football tournament to the LPBank Hoang Anh Gia Lai Football Academy for the period 2024-2029.
