The 100 people honored represent the millions of blood donors in Vietnam, and it is a reunion of three regions. Voluntary blood donation has become a beautiful lifestyle activity in the community. This needs to be continued and expanded because voluntary blood donation is not just a movement activity but a regular activity to save patients."
“When we are healthy, we are willing to donate blood for the community; when blood is needed, the community is also willing to share. With that message, voluntary blood donation activities have spread widely in the community, among all classes of people. We have had many people who not only donate blood themselves but also their families and relatives. There are people who have mobilized thousands of people to donate blood. This is a wonderful model that we have built over time,” Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Ngoc Que shared.
