In a concise, easy-to-understand question-and-answer format, the book, recently published by the Truth National Political Publishing House, presents basic knowledge about the doctrines, canons, rituals, and organizations of religions in Vietnam today, while analyzing things to keep in mind when communicating and behaving with religions.

The book "Religion and religious life in Vietnam - Questions and answers" has just been published by the National Political Publishing House Truth.

With the desire to help readers understand more clearly and fully about religions and religious life in Vietnam, the National Political Publishing House Truth publishes the book "Religion and Religious Life in Vietnam - Questions and Answers" by authors Nguyen Thai Binh and Do Thi Thanh Huong.

According to the Publishing House, religion appeared very early and played an important role in the cultural and spiritual life of society. Vietnam is a multi-religious country, besides the native religions, there are also many religions imported from outside such as: Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism, Islam,... The Party and State of Vietnam always respect and ensure the right to freedom of belief and religion and implement the policy of religious solidarity.

In Vietnam, there are currently 16 officially recognized religions (including 9 imported religions and 7 indigenous religions). In recent years, along with the large number of followers, religious life in Vietnam has undergone fundamental changes, from the religious activities of followers to the activities of religious dignitaries and religious organizations.

Religions operate in accordance with doctrines and canon laws, comply with legal regulations, are attached to the nation, actively participate in social activities, and contribute to the country's development.

The book “Religion and religious life in Vietnam - Questions and answers” provides readers with basic knowledge and understanding of 16 recognized religions in Vietnam, thereby showing a picture of the rich, diverse and unique religious life in Vietnam today.

In a concise, easy-to-understand question-and-answer format, the book not only presents basic knowledge about the doctrines, canons, rituals, and organizations of religions, but also analyzes things to keep in mind when communicating and behaving with religions; and answers frequently asked questions about religion.
